Weird news - Singer arrested for keeping bear cub, said it was a dog

Social media is very active nowadays, with very action of people (especially the famous ones being highlighted and commented upon by people all over the world). So if somebody does something that can be criticized, you can be sure that there will be a large number of people that will criticize it. In this case, when people are forbidden from keeping wild animals as pets, especially when they are endangered, and somebody famous is found with such a wild animal in their home, there will be a lot of criticism. Last week, a Malaysian singer was arrested for keeping a wild bear in her home. However, she insists she thought the animal was a dog, not a sun bear. According to Asia One, Zarith Sofia Yasin claimed in an interview that she found the bear nearly two weeks earlier and picked it up hoping to nurse it back to health. "It was night time when I found the bear cub in a weakened state by the side of the road, and I thought it was dog!" the 27-year-old said to Kosmo in a report published on Sunday.

Weird news - Bear breaks into a house when owners are away

There are numerous incidents where bears and other animals are learning from human proximity. Many locations in natural parks are places where bears have learned that proximity to humans means food and other comforts and since bears learn fast, there are frequent encounters with bears at camp sites. A family in US state Colorado came home to find a trashed kitchen. They thought it was a burglar who had entered their house, so they called the police. But when the security cameras installed in the house were checked, they saw a black bear roaming around the living room. In a straight-out-of-a-Disney movie scene, the bear was seen roaming around the house as if it was the animal's territory. The bear even got up on its hind legs to reach up to the piano to play a few notes and then went to discover the rest of the rooms.

Bear does the job of army, kills militants in Indian Kashmir

The Indian territory of Jammu and Kashmir, has seen an insurgency with a conflict between the Indian Government and Islamic militants, backed by Pakistan. The fight between them has been going on now for almost 2 decades, and can be pretty brutal.
The cat and mouse game between these 2 covers many parts of the territory of Kashmir; and given that Himalayas pass through the territory, there is a lot of mountainous region. Given that the region is also heavily forested, there are also many animals in the region.

The militants had assault rifles but were taken by surprise - police found the remains of pudding they had made to eat when the bear attacked. The militants had made their hideout in a cave which was actually the bear's den, said police officer Farooq Ahmed.
The dead have been identified as Mohammad Amin alias Qaiser, and Bashir Ahmed alias Saifullah.
News of the attack emerged when their injured comrade went to a nearby village for treatment.
"Word spread in the village that Qaiser had been killed by the bear," another police officer said.
