Weird news - Not a ghost in the closet

When you are living alone in an apartment, and you find that your clothing has been disturbed, it can feel real creepy, like somebody has come into your house and touched your things. But when you find strange hand prints in the bathroom, and they are not yours, scripts from horror movies would come into the mind, as if there is a ghost in the house (even if you do not believe in ghosts). But whether you have a ghost in the house, or when you suddenly find movement coming from a closet and a man's voice from inside, it can be equally scary. In today's world, the threat of a strange man in the house when you are all alone can be equally scary - the horrors of a slasher or a murderer or a rapist all come to mind.
It takes a lot of courage to handle such a situation, and this girl managed to handle this weird situation well enough, managing to get the man out of her apartment (link to article):
Maddie, a student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, who identified herself only by her first name, explained to WFMY-TV that her clothing had mysteriously disappeared in the past. Moreover, the junior told other local news outlets this week she had previously noticed handprints on the bathroom walls. They weren't hers. On Saturday, Greensboro police say, Maddie confronted her "ghost" after hearing something rattling in her closet. "Who's in there?" she recalled asking in the interview with WFMY. As she pressed against the closet door, she realized a spirit wasn't responsible for the sounds. "Oh, my name's Drew," a man's voice replied.

A stranger slaps a toddler in a shop, arrested

Suppose you are the mother of a bonny toddler, and life is hectic for you. You need to handle the child as well as make sure that your house is running fine. So you may need to run around, do shopping while carrying your baby. However, children do not follow the rules that adults have; they can cry whenever something is disturbing, they can seem like an inconvenience to other people and so on. However, nothing can justify what this apparent stranger did when he got irritated by the behavior of this child (link to article):

A Georgia man allegedly slapped a toddler at a Walmart store because she wouldn't stop crying, authorities said. Roger Stephens, 61, was arrested Monday and charged with first-degree cruelty to children. An incident report obtained from police in Gwinnett County indicated Stephens did not know the 2-year-old girl he stands accused of hitting.
The mother said a stranger later identified as Stephens approached them and said, "If you don't shut the baby up, I will shut her up for you." A few moments later, while the mother and the crying child were in another aisle, Stephens allegedly grabbed the girl and slapped her across the face.

Now, he has been charged with cruelty to children, and one would think that it is perfectly justified that he has been charged with such a crime.

Unknown woman living in closet

Very creepy, imagine if in your apartment, you find that stuff keeps vanishing without a trace and no one could have come from outside to do the stealing. Enough to make a person believe that the apartment is haunted; however, to the Japanese man who witnessed this happening, he used the wonders of modern technology to find the truth. This 57 year old man setup a hidden camera and found that a woman had been living in a closet that had not been used for quite some time:

A Japanese man who was mystified when food kept disappearing from his kitchen, set up a hidden camera and found an unknown woman living secretly in his closet, Japanese media said on Friday. The 57-year-old unemployed man of Fukuoka in southern Japan called police on Wednesday when the camera sent pictures to his mobile phone of an intruder in his home while he was out on Wednesday, the Asahi newspaper said on its Website.

what a concept; imagine not knowing that a woman had been living in your home for so long.
